breweries out there this year and beer lands, four of those breweries, they're all northern california with the exception of one. but four were from san francisco proper. and then the wineries, we have 33 wineries out there and they're all from northern california. we're very supportive of the local businesses throughout san francisco, throughout the bay area, and we pay particular attention to the neighborhoods that surround the park because we do understand that those neighborhoods are being impacted most by this event. you know, gordos burritos, [speaker not understood], and they have an extraordinary big weekend in the brick and mortar store as well as on the festival grounds. we have some vendors here today who will speak to that as well as [speaker not understood] feingold who oversees the local restaurants and the restaurant just down the street. >> i appreciate that and that commitment. one of the things i do want to be clear about, the area that i'm really concerned about is the area right on irving street closest to the impacting area where the 25th avenue entrance is. i don'

company and did that for several years. i was actually the legal administrator for northern california operations and chief paralegal and i did that for several years with zenith national insurance company. please don't ask me any insurance questions. as i pointed out earlier, i worked with the community action program which is the equivalent of the economic opportunity council here in san francisco. this was community action commission of santa barbara county, which had control over direct services for the entire county of santa barbara and all the six cities within so we had to cover a substantial amount of area, much larger geographally than san francisco but hardly as dense. so my concerns as a resident in the octavia plan boundaries are the preservation of open space, development of greater community gardening opportunities for low to moderate to affordable income residents, the keeping of upper market street at least as a sunshine corridor so that the building, the new growth and developments occurring along the market street corridor don't overshadow the upper market street.

states attorney here in the northern district of california where ironically handled domestic violence case in the presidio which isn't the typical jurisdiction matter but more importantly i'm a husband and a father of a daughter and this is important and in light of the current events that have taken place it's important that the two commissions get together to affirm our commitment to combating domestic violence and protecting witnesses and candidly this couldn't be a better time. today i received the san francisco attorney, the magazine from the bar association, and the cover of the magazine is "domestic violence, not a cookie cutter approach" and they interviewed two attorneys and i know both but no prosecution interviewed, no police department involved in the interview, and it's essentially taking us back 10 steps. all of the hard work put in by the da's office and this article i was bothered by it and i think there should be response to the article and i think tonight is the first response and i think we are disturbed and it's like the knob hill gazette for lawyers but this wa
